Today we go through the Cosmos hub and spoke ecosystem to deliver a tutorial on inter-blockchain communication transfers. The Cosmos Ecosystem is made up of the Cosmos hub and its surrounding zones, AKA applications. These applications are similar to DeFi on EVM chains like Polygon, Avalanche, and Fantom. The DeFi ecosystem is blossoming on the Cosmos Hub with the help of a robust proof-of-stake validator group. The staking functionality on Cosmos allows anyone to stake tokens in these different zones and IBC allows seamless transfers from app to app across these zones.
